Uni Systems in consortium with Capgemini Invent signs a multi-million euro framework agreement with the European Union Intellectual Property Office for general as well as ICT consultancy and programme management services.
Luxembourg - Athens, June 8, 2021 – Uni Systems, in consortium with Capgemini Invent (leader), has signed a multi-million euro framework agreement with the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO) for consulting services for high-level and strategic matters that are related to the areas of competence and tasks of EUIPO, facilitating the achievement of its Strategic Plan 2025.
The contract awarded by the EUIPO is a one-year framework contract renewable for up to three additional one-year periods. The agreement has a total maximum value of €50 million and includes general consultancy, audits, studies and project management services.
The consulting services provided by the consortium are in the following areas:
- General consultancy for high-level and strategic matters that are related to the areas of competence and tasks of EUIPO.
- Audit, which aims at providing independent assurance that EUIPO’s risk management, governance and internal control processes are operating effectively. They will result in analyses, appraisals, recommendations, advice and information concerning the activities reviewed.
- Studies, including the investigation and analysis related to core activities of EUIPO, intellectual property matters, as well as other topics which will advance the work of the office.
