The consortium will oversee the design, development, integration, maintenance and modernization of the European Parliament’s core business systems, including legislative, work management and relationship management systems.
Luxembourg, March 31st, 2022 – The European Parliament has chosen a consortium composed of CGI in Luxembourg (lead partner), Uni Systems, and Edda Luxembourg to oversee the management and modernization of its core business systems. The consortium’s work will enable the European Parliament to digitally transform its operations, driving efficiencies and cost savings, as well as improving its legislative services for the ultimate benefit of citizens across Europe.
The consortium will provide end-to-end systems management services, including analysis, design, development, integration, deployment, maintenance and modernization for numerous information and communication technology (ICT) systems, both existing and new. These systems support core business functions related to:
- Legislation and budget
- Parliamentary operational tasks
- Political engagement and relationship management
The framework contract has an initial two-year duration, with the option of up to two one-year renewals and a total maximum value of 89 million euros.
