The reseller agreement covers Fusion Essence for on-cloud and on-premises deployment
London - Athens, September 21st, 2022 – Finastra and Uni Systems have expanded their partnership by signing a reseller agreement for Finastra’s Fusion Essence, a next-generation, cloud-based and on-premises core and digital solution which delivers end-to-end, personalised banking experiences for customers. The agreement covers the geographical areas of Adriatic, Central and Southeast Europe as well as the Mediterranean, using Uni Systems’ premises in Athens, Bucharest, Barcelona and Milan as a base.
The new agreement extends the companies’ existing collaboration around Treasury and Capital Markets, Risk and Payments, with Uni Systems having created its own Finastra practice internally with pre-sales, sales and deployment capacity. Finastra's Fusion Essence helps deliver market-leading, personalized products and seamless services for end customers, driving profitability for the institution. The solution’s comprehensive business functionality, advanced architecture and expanding ecosystem ensure that customers can deliver today as well as enabling future strategic initiatives. This, coupled with Uni Systems’ on-the-ground implementation expertise and support services, will allow Uni Systems to bring unparalleled customer and context-centric experiences to the region.
Uni Systems has extensive experience of over 30 years in core banking solutions with numerous implementations across Europe. The addition of Fusion Essence, the third Finastra solution in Uni Systems’ portfolio, comes as a natural continuation of its commitment to the banking industry.
Constantine Serros, Banking and Financial Services Business Unit Director at Uni Systems, said: “This new reseller agreement with Finastra highlights our commitment to digital and next-generation retail and commercial banking, and marks our shift to more flexible and customer-centric models. Moreover, it adds to our capabilities in delivering solutions that optimise the operations of banking institutions, thus creating unique experiences for their end-customers. We see great potential in our collaboration with Finastra and we will continue to invest in it.”
Keith Redding, Chief Revenue Officer, Universal Banking at Finastra, said: “Our core banking solution, available both on-premises and in the cloud via Microsoft Azure, is designed to help banks unlock AI and data analytics to offer their customers a unique, compelling and hyper-personalised experience. Our collaboration with Uni Systems has already enabled us to reach new markets and serve more customers across our other business lines.
